Harvard grad Natalie Portman gave birth to her second child in February, forcing her to miss the 89th Academy Awards despite being nominated for Best Actress for the titular role in Jackie. Portman apparently kept busy up until just before her daughter, Amalia, was born, starring in an intimate music video for English singer James Blake’s song, “My Willing Heart.”
In the video — which was filmed “just days” before Portman and husband Benjamin Millepied welcome Amalia into the world according to Entertainment Weekly — Portman appears in very little clothing, her pregnant belly prominent in almost every shot. In one scene, the actress’s then-unborn daughter can be seen pressing against the walls of Portman’s stomach, providing viewers with a powerful image of motherhood.
The video’s director, up-and-coming filmmaker Anna Rose Holmer (The Fits), tweeted a link to the video, calling Portman “generous” for giving her time to a song about “love and wonder.”

Portman and Millepied also have a son, Aleph, 5, who was born in 2011. The couple met on the set of Black Swan, which Millepied choreographed and in which Portman starred.
