Christopher Nolan’s The Prestige Plot Diagrams

Christopher Nolan's The Prestige Plot Diagrams

Hi all. I’m fascinated by the plot structures and use of time in Christopher Nolan‘s movies. I made these diagrams of The Prestige, my favorite film, showing that the movie itself is structured like a magic trick.

I have a film theory paper to accompany them that explains its use of non-chronological time, but I’m wondering where I could publish it? Thanks for your advice. Let me know if there are any corrections to be made.

The first image follows the screenplay, the second, hand-drawn one follows the finished film itself. “Fabula” means the chronological series of events in the plot. “Syuzhet” means the order of the plot as presented to the audience.
