Martinez has emerged as one of Europe’s best young forwards this season and has bagged 15 goals in 24 games, including strikes against Barcelona, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund.
His performances alongside former United man Romelu Lukaku have helped propel Inter up the Serie A table and have kept them in the title race with Juventus.
However, they have also attracted attention from some of the biggest clubs in Europe with both Manchester sides and Barcelona all said to be interested in the Argentine.
Yet despite the rumours, Martinez insists he is happy with life at the San Siro.
“Today, I’m an Inter player and I’m happy here,” the Argentine told TycSports.
“The fact that they speak well of me means that I’m doing something right and the intention is to continue on this path.
“I’m calm, happy and at ease with Inter.”
Despite the brilliant form of Marcus Rashford, United have continued to struggle in front of goal this season and are looking to reinforce their attacking ranks.
After deciding against signing Erling Haaland, Martinez is the striker who is being linked to Old Trafford the most.
Reports suggest that City are also after the 22-year-old and see him as a potential replacement for Sergio Aguero.
The Blues’ record scorer shows no signs of slowing down but he is now 31 and only has 18 months remaining on his current contract.
