Steven Tyler's Grammys 2020 party temporarily darkened by power outage

Guests at Steven Tyler’s Grammys viewing party were plunged into darkness, we’re told, after a power outage in the neighborhood.

“We ate dessert in the dark,” said a partygoer.

A spokesperson for the event — which raised money for Tyler’s child-abuse charity, Janie’s Fund — told us, “Despite a brief power outage … the evening was a major hit — raising over $2.4 million.”

Meanwhile, we’re told performer Pitbull pulled out at the last minute after learning about Kobe Bryant’s death. “He wouldn’t get on the plane after the news broke,” we’re told.

Gavin DeGraw performed instead, and Terry Crews hosted.
