“They go for long walks, they do yoga, and Meghan cooks. They are real homebodies who love to chill out with Archie and the dogs,” the friend said of the “besotted” couple who call each other H and M.
“They both love to be outside and have been loving it there,” the friend said of scenic Vancouver Island where they are staying in a mansion after fleeing the UK.
Still, they are not planning to fully relocate to the Great White North.
“They love being in Canada, but they are looking at houses in L.A. too,” the friend told People. “They’ll likely have houses in both places.”
Despite the huge backlash it sparked, the Sussexes are “relieved” to be free from royal responsibilities, with Meghan noticeably “much less stressed,” one source told the mag.
A weight has been lifted off their shoulders,” a friend told the mag, saying the decision to Megxit had been “weighing on them for a long time.”
Now they are “trying to live their life as regular parents,” the friend said.
“Archie is the priority. It’s very much about taking care of him and putting the family first,” the friend said.
