3-4-3 Predicted Wolves Lineup Vs Leicester City- What will Nuno do here?

Nuno Espírito Santo’s Wolverhampton Wanderers side will be hoping to pick up their ninth league victory of the season when travelling to the King Power Stadium to take on a high-flying Leicester City team. While the Foxes currently find themselves in a much more comfortable position on the league table than Wolves, the unpredictability of the Premier League could end up playing spoilsport.

The Foxes picked up a motivating 2-2 draw against Frank Lampard’s stuttering Chelsea side before the winter break and will be looking to get back to winning ways in the league. Wolves, on the other hand, currently find themselves in 9th place, with the likes of Burnley and Newcastle United still hot on their trail as well. With just four points separating them from Sheffield United in fifth, Nuno will be confident of his team’s chances of European qualification next season.

Team News

Ruben Vinagre’s thigh injury is set to keep him out of the upcoming fixture, with no return date currently set for the young full-back’s recovery. Elsewhere, star man Adama Traore picked up an unfortunate shoulder injury against Manchester United last time out but continued through the pain. Although the speedster is a doubt for this tie, he is expected to start. With no other significant injury concerns at this point, Nuno will be hoping that they can pull off a victory against one of the league’s most in-form outfits.

3-4-3 Predicted Wolves Lineup Vs Leicester City

Formation: 3-4-3

Defence

Portuguese veteran shot-stopper Rui Patricio has been in sensational form since the start of the campaign, and he’s singlehandedly earned Wolves a multitude of points since the beginning of the term. In front of him, expect Nuno to stick with the same defensive trio that kept Manchester United remarkably quiet during their last outing. Willy Boly and Conor Coady should be partnered at the back by Romain Saiss.

Midfield

Matt Doherty and Jonny Castro have been in decent form since the commencement of the league season, and the pair are expected to retain their place in the starting lineup. While the Spaniard operates down the left, Doherty’s powerful running down the right flank could cause the Leicester defenders lots of problems. In the middle of the park, expect to see the familiar faces of Portuguese duo Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho.

Attack

Adama Traore’s shoulder knock came as a scary sign for many Wolves supporters, but as it turns out, he seems to be okay. Next to him, the usual suspects of Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota are set to complete the Wolverhampton Wanderers starting lineup.
