“Bohemian Rhapsody” stars and real-life couple Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton had a date night at the Rangers game over the weekend.
The actors — who began dating after meeting on the set of the film — were spotted watching the New York Rangers beat the San Jose Sharks at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.
During the game, MSG showed clips of Malek, 38, in the Freddie Mercury film, before panning the camera to the Oscar winner with Boynton in the crowd — although only Malek’s name appeared across the big screen.
We’re told MSG didn’t know who Malek’s guest for the game would be until the last minute, which is why Boynton, 26, was not included in the shout-out.
A source told us the pair — who live in New York — were seen talking and laughing together throughout the game as they drank beer. Malek was also spotted greeting fans who introduced themselves to him.
Also at the game was “The Blacklist” star Amir Arison, who was sitting next to the couple.
“Super nice guy,” Arison — who plays an FBI computer tech on the NBC series — tweeted of Malek, jokingly adding, “We compared techy notes. #MrRobot #TheBlacklist.”
Malek has spotted at Rangers games in the past.
