The high I get reading this phrase, speak truth to power.
at this news conference today, I felt the first “clean” day I’ve had in more than four years. No more of that feeling like you’ve just shook Mr. Potter’s hand in “It’s a Wonderful Life”

What a bizarre statement to make. Being elected into a position of power in US intelligence means that you no longer “speak truth to power”. It’s being spoken *to* you.
