Megyn Kelly Rips Biden a New One Over COVID Lab Leak – RedState
Former Fox News and NBC “Today” show host Megyn Kelly has had more than enough of Joe Biden and his administration, or as Kelly referred to the aforementioned during an episode of her podcast last week, “these f**kers.”
“They have lied to us for long enough!”, she proclaimed, “We need to know the truth!”
On her show on Wednesday, Kelly lamented the devastation caused by the pandemic and called for accountability.
“Forgive me, but these f*****s have lied to us for long enough, and we need to know the truth,” Kelly began. https://t.co/ooWYumy6QD

During a conversation with her guest, foreign policy columnist and political analyst Josh Rogin, Kelly cited a letter from top scientists to the HHS Secretary demanding the firing of Dr. Peter Daszak, president of EcoHealth Alliance — the company that received money from the federal government and in turn gave money to the now-infamous Wuhan Institute of Virology, which is where COVID-19 appears to have originated.
Kelly mentioned allegations by the signatories to the letter, among them that Daszak concealed critical information from the government, including lying about keeping live bats in the Wuhan lab and misleading the public early on about the origins of the deadly virus. The letter also declared that the board has a moral and legal obligation to investigate Daszak but has refused to do so.

“Why wouldn’t the board investigate him? I mean, the obvious answer is because they were in on that. Because they knew. Because they can’t fire Peter Daszak because they’ll go down with him. So who’s going to investigate the board?
“I don’t think they will get rid of him, right? If their hands are dirty they’re not going to get rid of him. So what are our options because this guy clearly should not be staying in his post.”
Rogin suggested the main problem, from the beginning of the COVID outbreak and throughout the pandemic, has been “scientists overseeing scientists.” (Anthony Fauci was unavailable for comment.)
“That’s what we should have learned from this pandemic. We can’t have Anthony Fauci overseeing Anthony Fauci. We can’t have Francis Collins overseeing Francis Collins. We can’t have the EcoHealth Alliance overseeing Peter Daszak because it doesn’t work. None of these organizations are self-correcting.
The fact that it’s U.S. taxpayer money means that we actually do have an out here. Which is to get Congress and the administration involved because that’s your taxpayer money, my taxpayer money. And there’s no accountability. There’s no transparency, even in the biggest crisis in the world.”
Rogin also stressed that the lab leak theory doesn’t implicate China — it implicates us.
“The lab leak theory doesn’t implicate China — it implicates us. We funded that research. It implicates our labs, our scientists, and our ‘heroes of the pandemic,’ including Anthony Fauci, who I’m sure was trying to prevent pandemics but is now obscuring information.”
“It’s easy to talk about this in the abstract as a policy matter and throw the numbers out there,” Megyn said, before going off on the Biden administration and its continual “lies.”
“Forgive me, but these f*ckers have lied to us for long enough and we need to know the truth!
“We need to know … millions of people are dead and Peter Daszak is allowed to get away with his lies. The Biden administration looks the other way.
“The information is there if only we will push for it and demand it. We have no assurances this won’t happen again and it’s infuriating to me.”
The segment could not have been more spot-on — including Kelly’s frustration and Rogin’s insight.
Megyn Kelly appears to finally have found her niche as a podcaster, using the platform to blister those who deserve to be blistered. Here are a few examples we’ve covered at RedState:
