Records prove Donald and Ivanka Trump were Kamala Harris Supporters in 2014
According to financial records, President Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka both donated thousands of dollars to re-elect Senator Kamala Harris when she was campaigning for Attorney General back in 2014.
Three donations were made to the campaign under Trump and Ivanka’s name:
- Sept. 26, 2011: Donald J. Trump donated $5,000
- Feb. 20, 2013: Donald J. Trump donated $1,000
- June 3, 2014: Ivanka Trump donated $2,000
Senator Harris was the first Black woman to run on a majority party’s presidential ticket.
Biden called Harris “a fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants.”
It wasn’t long before Twitter users found evidence of Trump’s giving by looking through California’s campaign finance data and posted the amounts given to Harris’ campaign just a few years ago.
Quick search of California’s campaign finance data shows Donald Trump’s most recent contributions in the state were to Kamala Harris for her 2014 reelection campaign.
