Letitia Wright Denies Spreading Anti-Vaccine Theories On The Set Of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”
The Hollywood Reporter recently published a report on the current state of Hollywood, COVID-wise. Specifically, how film and TV sets were navigating the hot topic of vaccines. They got a little gossipy and published two vaccine-related blind items about actors and vaccines. In one, an anonymous not-vaccinated actor who allegedly caught COVID and spread it to a dozen crew members, halting production and causing a seven-figure loss. In the other, an anonymous A-list actress who fired her beloved yoga instructor, because the only asana that instructor wouldn’t do was the Double Arm Jab. But THR wasn’t so shy about dropping the name of an actress on the set of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever who was allegedly spreading lies about COVID vaccines. They came right out and accused Letitia Wright of being an vocal anti-vaxxer on set. Letitia has something to say about that, and she’s calling bullshit on THR’s reporting.
The allegation that Letitia was spreading misinformation about the COVID vaccine didn’t come as much of a surprise to anyone who remembered Letitia’s previous public stance on vaccines. About a year ago, Letitia shared a YouTube video on social media featuring a self-proclaimed “prophet” named Tomi Arayomi who questioned the legitimacy of the COVID vaccines, accused China of spreading the virus, questioned whether climate change was real, and made some generally transphobic comments. After Letitia shared that video, her US team reportedly dropper her And then, we had a source that spoke to The Hollywood Reporter claiming that Letitia was still at it, and was spreading anti-vaxx shit on set.
Very few film or TV sets require mandatory vaccinations for all cast and crew, although THR reported that Disney has decided to roll out a system on all upcoming projects that will require a wristband to prove vaccination status (those who aren’t vaccinated won’t have a wristband). So if Letitia continues to be employed, one could maybe assume that Letitia’s eyes would laser-focus in on every bare wrist on set and congratulate them on not nuking their bodies with chemicals produced in Hell Labs by Professor Satan. But Letitia hopped on Instagram and denied the accusations against her.
For those who forgot their Sunday School lessons, Isaiah 54:17 is pretty much what that suit of armor is telling us above, which is what no weapon formed against a person will be successful, and anyone who speaks shit will get hit by Jesus Christ. I’m sure JC will be happy to smite Letitia’s haters, but like, later. He’s a little busy right now. I’m sure he’ll get around to it, just as soon as he’s done figuring out how to send more obvious signs to the people who still refuse to get vaccinated.
