Wendy Rogers Slams Biden Admin For Supply Chain Crisis: ‘Trump Would Have Had the Military do it and it Would Have Been Done Already!’
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is back from “paternity leave” and today he made the rounds of Sunday news shows to discuss the supply chain crisis.
NBC’s Chuck Todd asked him about the possibility of deploying the military to take care of it on “Meet the Press” and Buttigieg pivoted to other solutions.
Arizona GOP State Senator Wendy Rogers slammed the Biden Administration for the issues that we are currently seeing, putting much of the blame on Buttigieg.
In a tweet, Rogers declared, “(Buttigieg) needs to get off of ‘paternity leave’ and get our ships unloaded!”
“Trump would have had the military do it and it would have been done already!” Rogers added.

Additionally, the USNS Comfort was dispatched to the city to help with overflow patients, although it only ended up treating less than 200.
The Army Corps built more than 30 field hospitals last year as well, retrofitting convention centers and erecting climate-controlled tents.
Buttigieg said, however, that they are focused on “cutting the red tape” to become a truck driver. That seems like a dangerous endeavor as truck driving has strict requirements for a reason.
Previously, we reported on Tucker Carlson’s criticism of Buttigieg’s “Paternity leave”:
Fox News’ Tucker Carlson was recently critical of “spineless” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg taking paternity leave while there is currently a crisis involving transportation.
On Thursday, Carlson said “Pete Buttigieg has been on leave from his job since August after adopting a child. Paternity leave, they call it, trying to figure out how to breastfeed. No word on how that went.”
In an MSNBC interview, Buttigieg responded, “I guess he just doesn’t understand the concept of bottle feeding, let alone the concept of paternity leave.”
Carlson hit back at Buttigieg on yesterday’s show and said, “Last night on this show we made a brief, offhand joke about the Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg, and this morning we discovered our error.”
“It turns out that Buttigieg is not a dwarfish fraud whose utter mediocrity indicts the class that produced him. No, not at all,” Carlson explained.
Then, sarcastically, Carlson added, “Pete Buttigieg was once the mayor of South Bend, Indiana. So understandably, going forward, we are under strict orders from the Biden administration to take Pete Buttigieg very, very seriously,” he sarcastically added. “And of course we will. Our mistake.”
