Anti-vaccine activists interrupted work at a hospital to serve NHS staff with bogus legal papers accusing them of taking part in the ‘Covid-19 hoax’.

This is the moment medics at Colchester Hospital in Essex were accused of ‘crimes against humanity’ by conspiracy theorists citing the Nuremberg Code.

Video shared on Twitter shows the anti-vaxxers handing a female NHS worker several large brown envelopes, which contained ‘all the evidence to prove that coronavirus is an absolute plandemic hoax’.

The activists were identified online as Michael Chaves, a 55-year-old former paramedic, and Jamie Freeman, self-described as a ‘reality destroyer’.

In their rant at Colchester Hospital, they said to staff they ‘are operating illegally and you are operating crimes against humanity, and by continuing to enforce and continuing to propagate this lie, you are essentially a part of that’.

Bizarrely, they also claimed that the Pope stripped NHS workers of their ‘liability’ in 2013, insisting that they can be ‘held in their personal capacity’.

They added: ‘All of this will be served via Royal Mail as well, and it will be followed up on by lawyers.

‘I suggest you get your lawyers to have a look at that because it is all legally binding paperwork.’

As the group leaves the trust’s office, the conspiracy theorist filming the incident yell ‘yet another NHS business served’.

Essex Police were called to the scene of the incident at 12.30pm on Wednesday.

A spokesperson for the force confirmed officers attended Colchester Hospital and ensured the wellbeing of staff.

They added: ‘Officers then carried out further reassurance patrols in the area.’

This is the latest stunt by conspiracy theorists in the country claiming that the pandemic is a hoax and the use of of Covid-19 vaccine passports.

Only days ago, reported that Michael Gove was chased down the street by a group of anti-vaxxers during a protest in Westminster.

Shocking footage shows the Cabinet minister being surrounded by a mob of angry demonstrators as he walked down Horseferry Road.

Like a soring number of social media users, the activists cited the Nuremberg Code, which was developed in the wake of Nazi atrocities.

It is a set of ethical research principles, the first of which being that the voluntary consent of the human subject is absolutely essential in any experiment on humans.

As the UK Covid-19 vaccine roll out and the use of vaccine passports continue to be debated, many conspiracy theorists argue they are an infringement of their rights under the Nuremberg Code.

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, which governs Colchester Hospital, did not wish to comment on the incident.
