Angela Rayner: Man charged after deputy Labour leader sent threats

A man has been charged after Angela Rayner received a series of threats.

The deputy Labour leader and her staff are said to have received ‘a number of threatening, malicious and abusive communications’ over the past few weeks.

Benjamin Iliffe, 36, from Cambridgeshire, is accused of malicious communications, Greater Manchester Police announced this afternoon.
