Fraser City Council Interviews 2021 – RedState
Every two years since 2015, I have taken the time to invite those who are running for the Fraser City Council to chat with me about why they want to be an elected official in this city of fewer than 15,000 residents.
This year, there are four people on the ballot, and two of them — incumbents David Winowiecki and Suzanne Kalka — agreed to talk with me about the past four years they have served and what they look forward to doing if elected for another four years.
Here are some of the topics we covered in this hour-long interview.
*What has occurred since the city cut eight public safety officers and closed its dispatch center in 2017. Also what they learned on a recent ride-along with they both took Fraser Public Safety.
*The city has a “downtown” and what has been done recently and what can be done in the years ahead.
*How another four-year term would start differently than their last one.
