Leftists Have Meltdown Over Sinema’s Master ‘Troll’ – RedState

People on the left have attacked Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) as something of an enigma, claiming that she isn’t listening to what they have to say. So instead, they have taken to harassing her wherever they can track her down, from the bathroom to a wedding.

But Sinema has said in response that she has been very clear, the problem is that they just don’t like what she has to say.

She did give an interview to CNN where she made that point and was clear about what she would and wouldn’t go for.

Sinema went into detail over why she opposed a $3.5 trillion price tag for the Build Back Better Act and outlined concerns over inflation and the toll it’s taking on the American public.

“I won’t support any legislation that increases burdens on Arizona or American businesses and reduces our ability to compete either domestically or globally,” she said. “That’s one of the reasons I said I wasn’t able to support a $3.5 trillion bill.”

Sinema went on to say, “Inflation is a real problem in our country right now,” adding, “I want to make sure that if we are crafting legislation, we are doing it in a lean and efficient way that is fiscally responsible and doesn’t impact things like inflation or make our businesses less competitive.”

It’s because of Sinema and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) that the monstrosity bill was knocked down from $3.5 trillion to about $1.85 trillion. They’re still in negotiations on it but House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) didn’t consult with the Senate before she passed the package in the House so it still has things like paid family leave in it to which Manchin has objected. Sinema has said she is for paid leave but wouldn’t tell CNN if she was for it as outlined in the House bill.

While Sinema said she supports the First Amendment, she blasted the attempts to intimidate her and said the appropriate authorities were dealing with the situation where activists tried to harass her and her students at Arizona State University, even following her into the bathroom and filming while there.

“There is a line, however, and when individuals choose to engage in illegal activity, and most importantly, in this instance, violate the privacy rights of the students that I’m working with at Arizona State University,” Sinema said. “That’s not appropriate. My students are working hard to earn their degrees, so they can serve their community in Arizona. They did not sign up to be harassed in a restroom or have their privacy violated on the internet. And that’s what I think is inappropriate. So I voiced that concern, and appropriate authorities are taking action.”

Just too much sense for the left, which is one of the reasons Sinema drives them crazy. She doesn’t fold like a cheap suit when they try to threaten her.

But there was another “incident” during the interview that CNN remarked on that truly caused a meltdown on the part of the left. At the beginning of the interview, Sinema’s ringtone on her phone went off. “Her ringtone is the refrain from a song in the musical “Hamilton” that includes the lyrics “you don’t have the votes,” CNN noted. “It’s been her ringtone since 2015, the year the musical was originally released, her spokesman told CNN.” That caused the folks on the left to meltdown, declaring their hate for her, while people on the right declared it a master troll.

But what truly trolls the left when it comes to Sinema is that she doesn’t go along with their narrative.
