While Suffering From COVID, Trump Ordered McDonalds As Soon as His Regeneron Kicked In

When he was the White House physician and not a United States congressman, Ronnie Jackson gushed over the health of Donald Trump. Jackson was, of course, mocked for his flowery description of Trump’s genes. The former president was clearly overweight and ate a horrible diet.

A big part of Trump’s terrible diet is his love for McDonalds. And when he was in Walter Reed Medical Center, suffering from COVID, he couldn’t wait to get his hands on fast food. According to Mark Meadows new book, Trump ordered McDonalds as his COVID medicine kicked in.

Maggie Haberman tweeted, “Trump had McDonald’s brought to Walter Reed after the Regeneron started kicking in, per Meadows. They had to eat with face shields on at the doctor’s orders, which didn’t thrill any of them.”

Trump’s love of fast food has always been clear. Traditionally, when championship teams come for a White House visit, they are served a full banquet. When the former president hosted the Clemson Tigers football team, though, he offered them an array of McDonalds and Burger King items.
