NBA Star Miles Bridges Violently Attacks Girlfriend In Front Of Kids, Charged With Felony Domestic Violence
After allegedly beating the mother of his children in front of the kids, NBA star Miles Bridges has been charged in Los Angeles with felony domestic violence and child abuse. The 24-year-old basketball star turned himself into authorities in L.A. the day after the alleged incident, according to TMZ Sports, which first reported the story late last month. He ultimately posted a $130,000 bond and was freed.

Although the specifics of the alleged incident are unclear, sources previously told us Miles and his GF got into a physical altercation. The alleged victim, Mychelle Johnson, who went by her own name, claims that the alleged attack injured her. She claimed she suffered a “brain concussion, closed fracture of nasal bone, contusion of rib, multiple bruises, strain of neck muscle.”
L.A. District Attorney George Gascon spoke out on the charges against Miles saying that “domestic violence creates physical, mental and emotional trauma that has a lasting impact on survivors.” Gascon continued in a statement to explain the terrible effects of domestic violence, “children who witness family violence are especially vulnerable and the impact on them is immeasurable. Mr. Bridges will be held accountable for his actions and our Bureau of Victim Services will support the survivors through this difficult process.”
