Would anyone here trust Barack Obama for medical advice, assuming of course that Obama was simply making it up as he went along and not relaying facts and figures that he obtained from doctors? No. No, we would not. That is because Barack Obama was a president, leader, politician, and not a doctor. As much as we love the man, he is certainly not a god-like figure who can do no wrong.
But that is not the way the MAGAs see Donald Trump, the man who had to pay someone to take his SATs. Over two-thirds of the MAGA faithful would trust “Dr. Trump” with medical advice because, well, apparently they believe he is that smart and part-god. From Mediaite:
Dr. Anthony Fauci was only slightly higher with 48 percent among all respondents, 18 percent among Republicans. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) was most trusted at 57 percent overall, including 83 percent of Democrats, 49 percent of Independents, and just 34 percent of Republicans.

Trump was by far the least trusted among all respondents, at just 29 percent, including 6 percent of Democrats and 29 percent of Independents. But among Republicans, a whopping 66 percent said they trust Trump “a lot” or “somewhat” for medical advice.
Speaking of Dr. Fauci, we would trust him to diagnose us with appendicitis or an inflamed gall bladder since, you know, he’s a doctor doctor and a damned good one, but the Maga half don’t trust him at all. He must be a doctor with a political agenda since he wants everyone to mask up and stay safe. Instead, two-thirds of MAGAs prefer to place their trust in Donald Trump, the man who believed in hydroxychloroquine more than masks. He wanted to explore the efficacy of bleach, UV light, and herd immunity. Plus, with the MAGAs, Trump has the god-thing.
Speaking of god, god help us all.
