The Feds arrested an ACTIVE DUTY Marine Corp Major today for being a part of the Jan 6th Insurrection.

WASHINGTON – A Marine Corps officer was arrested Thursday and charged with assaulting police officers at the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol, making him the first service member on active duty charged for his role in the deadly riot, the Justice Department said.

Mjr. Christopher Warnagiris is accused of forced his way inside the Capitol on Jan. 6 by pushing through a line of officers guarding the building’s East Rotunda doors, the Justice Department said. Video footage showed Warnagiris pushing a Capitol Police officer who tried to close the doors.

Warnagiris, 40, who’s stationed at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Va., is facing several charges, including assaulting, resisting or impeding officers, obstruction of law enforcement, and obstruction of justice. He is among several dozen people with ties to the military who are facing charges related to Jan. 6. The Justice Department said it has charged four guardsmen and reservists and about 40 veterans.

Terrific.  Bad enough he is an active duty Marine.  Oh no.  He’s an officer as well.  But what can we expect after more than a hundred retired military officers signed on to a letter claiming that Biden stole the election from Trump.

We have cops and retired cops attacking cops on Jan 6th.  We have veterans, guardsmen, and reservists attacking cops and trying to kill members of Congress.  Now, we get to see active military members who have sworn an oath to defend the Constitution and the U.S. attack cops.

I cannot wait to hear this assholes explanations.  It will give me the warm fuzzies to hear the conspiracy theories, racism, and lies that he offers up in his defense, especially from someone who is supposed to protect me.
