If there’s one meager solace we can draw from the disruptive and unshakeable presence of Donald Trump, it’s that he’s as big a headache to Republicans as he is to us. Completely driven by the whims and impulses of his insatiable ego, he could care less about the Republican Party’s overarching political ambitions and has no problem stirring the pot whenever he feels inclined to do so.

The latest Republican bigwig to feel the wroth of Trump is Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, whose occasional votes to confirm Biden nominees and disapproval of Trump’s role in the January 6th attack on Capitol Hill appear to have provoked the ire of the ex-president turned Floridian blogger.

In a statement, Trump announced he was giving his Complete and Total Endorsement to Murkowski’s primary opponent, Kelly Tshibaka.

Trump trashed Sen. Murkowski as “bad for Alaska” and vowed to campaign against her.

“Lisa Murkowski is bad for Alaska. Murkowski has got to go! Kelly Tshibaka is the candidate who can beat Murkowski – and she will,” wrote Trump.

This is not the first time Trump has spoken out against Murkowski. A week ago, he disparaged her as a “best friend to Democrats” and wished that she be met “very harshly” by Alaskan voters.

It will not come as a surprise to learn that Tshabika is just as much an extremist as Trump is, hellbent on pillaging every last ounce of energy out of Alaska’s pristine wilderness with no concern for the cost to the environment or future generations of Alaskans.

“President Trump won Alaska by double digits twice because his leadership and policies made him the best president our state has ever known. He knows our Alaska values, knows that we must be free to tap into our vast natural resources, and knows that we ought to be able to chart our own course without constant, authoritarian interference from Washington, D.C,” said Tshabika in a statement following Trump’s.
